Tension
A study in boiled wool and grain tension: volumes that hold themselves, without interfacing.
Tension begins with a simple question: how far can a garment be built from grain alone? The pieces exploit the constraint of the weave to achieve clean shoulders and suspended hems.
Every toile was draped on the stand before being transferred to flat pattern, then graded across six sizes.
